Josep Manzano says goodbye to high competition with a new victory in the 2 Days of Supertrial in Ponte

Manzi ha corrido su último trial profesional en Italia, país que le ha visto conseguir muchas victorias y donde el año 2001 se proclamó campeón del mundo júnior y campeón de Europa.

En esta ocasión la prueba ha sido la 2ª edición de los 2 Días de Supertrial de Ponte en la Valtellina, trial que Manzano ya ganó el año pasado.

La magistral organización corrió a cargo del GSV Group, capitaneado por Lino Della Rodolfa, soportado por los amigos del GS Piateda, y el tiempo soleado ayudó al éxito de la manifestación deportiva.

Ya el primer día Manzi dejó claro que quería firmar su despedida de la alta competición con una victoria, y completó un recorrido excelente que le permitió acabar con una amplia ventaja.

A 11 puntos de Manzano le siguieron, igualados, dos pilotos que han sido diversas veces campeones de Italia: Dario Re Delle Gandine (3 veces) y Diego Bosis (9 veces).

Así el 2º día Manzi tuvo suficiente con quedar a 1 punto de Re Delle Gandine para conseguir la victoria y llevarse el "Pezzot", un tejido tradicional del país que se otorga a los ganadores.
