Senez

Manzi, who leaded the first lap, finished second

The second round of the 2004 French Trial Championship was held on Sunday 11 in Senez, a little but historic village in the district of the Alps of High Provence.

The trial was organized by the Moto Club Boade, and the 130 pilots had to run three laps round a 10 km circuit with 12 varied sections.

Manzano, who plans to take part in all the championship trials but doesn't count for the standings, reserved for the French pilots, did a very good first lap which leaded with a 5-point advantage over the Japanese Kenichi Kuroyama.

In the second lap Manzi made two mistakes that cost him two fives, while Kuroyama completed the last two laps with only two points and obtained the victory.

So, the same that in Le Puy Sainte Réparade, Manzano climbed again to the podium, being the only pilot to be in both podiums of the two trials held until now.

Final podium (open)

1. Kenichi KUROYAMA, 12+2+0=14

2. Josep MANZANO, 7+13+5=25

3. Jérome BETHUNE, 17+14+15=46

(Only French pilots classify for the championship)
