Manzi helps his father in a classic trial

Thanks to a break in his tight competition calendar, Manzi has been able to leave riding for one day, and accompany his father as his minder in a round of the VIII Classic Trials Catalan Cup, that has been held on Sunday, May 5th, in Ripoll.

The muddy land and the intermittent rain that made sections very difficult, were not an obstacle to Josep Manzano Senior, who clearly won in the Trialers category. After three victories in the first three rounds (in Tavertet, Montbui and Ripoll) Manzi's father, who rides a Bultaco Sherpa 350, leads the standings with 60 points, followed by Josep Pujol, with 43, and Francesc Estrada, with 39.

Manzano Senior could not hide his satisfaction, as much for the triumph as for having been able to obtain it with Manzi's collaboration, a very unusual thing, given his timetable in the World and Spanish Championships.
